Fair Weather Sunday

 I am here in the sunshine state for a few days to help my dad with whatever needs assistance.  With my mom's passing last month, there is still much that needs attention.  I am attempting to be helpful, but I don't think he approved of the meal choice last night.  I tried to get him to try some sushi, to no avail. 

The governor in Florida has declared bars and restaurants open at full capacity, but that doesn't seem to be the case here in the panhandle.  Everyone is masked and though it is take-out for us, restaurants are still at limited capacity.  

In better news, the weather here is fantastic.  Clear skies, sunshine, and a cool breeze are making for wonderful days.  The locals seem to think it is cold.  The early morning walkers are sporting long pants, long sleeved shirts and even gloves.  

My school system is on fall break this week.  Even though we have switched back and forth between in person and virtual instruction, we are sticking to our original calendar.
